Just a reminder, there will be no regular classes Wednesday, December 22 - Sunday, January 2, 2011. Office hours over break will be December 22: 12-8pm, December 29: 3-6pm and December 30: 3-6pm.

Iowa Energy Game!

Winter Reminder from Miss Nina

It is necessary for people - espeically dancers after class - to wear pants, coat, hat, shoes and gloves. CT Dancers are required to dress warm! Please be safe and dress warm this cold winter season!

Mom's & Dad's Dance

Now is the time to sign up for the Mom's & Dad's dance! Sign up at the bulletin board today! Rehearsals are on select Sunday's beginning at the end of January. Besides the itty bitties, the Mom's & Dad's dance steals the show!

Concert & Costume Fees

Concert and Costume Fees are now due. Costumes need to be paid in full by December 15, 2010 for a costume to be ordered. Costume orders are placed over winter break. Contact the office if you have any questions.

CMD's Spring Concert Registration Deadline

Make sure to stop by the office and sign up for the Spring Concert if you haven't already! The registration deadline is Wednesday, December 15th.

The concert will take place June 10 & 11th, 2011 at the Urbandale Performing Arts Center - Urbandale High School

You will be receiving a more detailed concert information email in January.

Winter Dance Festival December 15-21,2010

Every year CMD holds a Winter Dance Festival to present material the dancers have learned in class. Invite family and friends to attend this special event and don't forget the camera! The preschool and elementary age classes will perform dances the last 15-25 minutes of their class, all others the last five minutes. Hope to see everyone there!

Zach is an award winning dancer who has competed globally in various break dancing competitions. He was the winner of Benchwarmer's 2005 BBOY contest in Wisconsin. Most recently, he was selected from 1 of 3 finalist to participate in a special exhibition battle held in South Korea.

CMD snacks are back! All snacks are 75 cents each or buy a punch card for only $5! Thats only 50 cents per snack!! We will be keeping the punch cards at the front desk , so your dancer will not need to worry about losing it.

CMD Booster Club

CMD booster club will be holding an organizational meeting Sunday Oct 10th at 7pm at the studio. They will be electing a board of directors, discussing ideas for fund raising and ideas on how to make CMD the best it can be for your kids. Hope to see you there!

CLASS ENROLLMENT
Students may enroll at any time throughout the school year, August 2010 through Spring Concert 2011. Registration fee is $15. Note: August and September tuition is due upon registration. August tuition is 25% of normal monthly rate. June tuition is 50% of normal monthly rate. Competition Team is by invitation only.

The preschool and elementary age classes will perform dances the last 15-25 minutes of their class. Most students choose to wear a costume to class, but it is not required. CMD will also hand out (non-peanut) candy and surprises. Students are more than welcome to bring their own treats, but it is not required! ~ Please NO frosting or peanut products!
